Accessibility Considerations

Traveling with a wheelchair user or someone with mobility challenges requires thoughtful planning. Our approach: Alphard executive vehicle has good access (low entry, wide door opening, space for folded wheelchair — powered chairs may require specific arrangement), driver assists with transfers, we plan hotels with proven accessibility (lift access, adapted rooms, accessible bathrooms), we select tour stops with genuine wheelchair access (many UK historic sites now have good ramps and lifts — but not all — we know which). Business days handled with accessible parking, drop-off close to venue, and time for comfortable transfers. Family members traveling together fully accommodated.

Making it Work

The critical thing: we plan honestly with you upfront. Not every UK site is fully accessible (some historic castles have inherent stair challenges), so we design a tour that celebrates what IS accessible — Windsor Castle (good access), Bath Roman Baths (accessible), Cotswolds village driving (scenic without needing to walk), Highland scenic drives (view from vehicle), most Edinburgh cathedral areas, National Trust properties (increasingly accessible). We are honest about what may need workaround. For accessibility-critical trips, we can arrange specific vehicle adaptations if planned ahead.
