The Fairy Pools
About twenty-five minutes each way from the car park on an uneven path with stream crossings. Trainers get wet. The water genuinely is that colour — it comes off the Cuillin snowmelt, which is why it is so clear.
Swimming
People do swim. The water is around ten degrees year round. We will not talk you out of it but we will mention the temperature first. If you plan to, bring a towel and a change of clothes — you can change at the vehicle.
Neist Point
The lighthouse at the island's western tip, about an hour from Portree with single-track at the end. It faces west, so afternoon and sunset are best — the opposite of Quiraing, so the two split neatly into morning and evening.
Parking and the walk
The Neist Point car park is small and fills on summer afternoons. It is about twenty minutes down to the lighthouse and uphill coming back. You do not have to walk all the way for photographs — the clifftop angle is already excellent.
Fitting both in a day
Yes, but start early: Fairy Pools in the morning when it is quiet and there is parking, Neist Point in the afternoon for the evening light, with lunch and Dunvegan in between. That is a typical day three on our three-day itinerary.
每日实际车程有几长
多数路段实际车程两至三个钟，中间有停留。十日环岛最长那日大约四个钟，我们会用一顿正经午餐分隔开，而不是高速公路服务区。大约每九十分钟停一次——有些是观景点，有些纯粹因为有人想饮杯咖啡。高地公路要特别留意：地图估两个钟，实际接近三个钟。

Toyota Alphard 和 Vellfire 是七座，但七个座位和七件行李是两回事。第三排立起那阵，尾箱大约放到四件 26 吋行李箱。所以我们说「最多四位客人连全套行李」——五位或以上有托运行李，我们会安排第二架车，不会勉强塞。
我们不会做的嘢
我们不会迫你入有佣金的商店或者餐厅。不会在你未问之前加项目再收钱。不会话一间我们没有住过的酒店好。如果你的计划日数不够、或者自驾对你来说其实更抵、又或者小团游更适合你，我们会直接说——就算这样会少做一单。
实际车程要几耐
地图估的时间在高地通常乐观三成。单线道要不停靠哪会车，夏天再加露营车，两个钟的路段实际接近三个钟。我们排行程用真实时间，所以我们的日程纸面上看起来短些——但不会做不完。
语言支援实际是怎么
我们司机导游会说普通话、广东话和英文。由第一次查询到最后一程送机都是同一种语言。在爱丁堡你用英文大致应付到;但在高地单线道遇上天气突变，有人可以用你的语言解释情况，是另一种安心。
