Vehicle Fee: Fixed, Not Per Person
All our quotes are per vehicle, not per person. Ten-day round trip £4,845, six-day round trip £2,805, day tours £480–£510. Four people pay the same vehicle fee as two — so the bigger the group, the lower the cost per head.
What the Vehicle Fee Includes
The vehicle, fuel, all parking and tolls, and a trilingual English, Cantonese and Mandarin driver-guide. On multi-day trips the driver's own accommodation is built into the daily rate, so you don't pay extra. No per-mile charges, and no fuel surcharges or "overtime fees" at the end.
What's Not Included
Accommodation, attraction tickets, meals and flights. Budget for these four yourself. If we book accommodation for you, four-star hotels are £150 per person per night, charged once the hotels are confirmed — we never take your money and then go looking for rooms.
What the Final Bill Comes To
Four people, two rooms, ten-day round trip, mid-range hotels and typical tickets: £4,845 vehicle fee + roughly £5,400 accommodation + about £1,500–2,500 for tickets and meals usually totals £12,000 to £14,000. Split four ways, that's about £3,300 each.
Two People vs Four
The vehicle fee is fixed, so per person it's £2,550 for two and £1,275 for four. Accommodation works the other way: one room for two, two rooms for four. Overall, a group of four usually costs 20–30% less per head than a couple. If you're thinking of bringing friends, the numbers back it up.
How to Pay
The 20% deposit is — we send the payment details by WhatsApp or email. The balance is settled by international bank transfer before departure (WeChat Pay also accepted). No cash on the day. All prices are in pounds sterling; if your card charges a foreign transaction fee, that's between you and your bank — we add nothing.
How the price actually works
We price by the day, not by the mile. Day tours run £480 (Nov–Mar) or £510 (Apr–Oct) for the business seven-seater; the ten-day loop is £4,845 for the whole trip; six days is £2,805. That covers fuel, parking, tolls and the chauffeur-guide, with no fuel surcharge or overtime fee at the end. Accommodation, if we arrange it, is £150 per person per night (4-star) and is charged after hotels confirm.
How party size changes the per-person cost
The vehicle price is fixed, so more people means a lower share each. The ten-day loop at £4,845 works out at £2,422.50 each for two, or £1,211.25 each for four. Accommodation goes the other way: two guests need one room, four need two. All in, four travellers typically pay about 20–25% less per person than two.
What the vehicle actually holds
The Alphard and Vellfire seat seven, but seven seats and seven suitcases are different problems. With the rear row up, the boot takes roughly four 26-inch cases. That is why we say four guests with full luggage — for five or more with checked bags we arrange a second vehicle rather than promising a squeeze that does not work.
What we will not do
We will not push you into shops or restaurants that pay commission, add items you did not ask for and charge for them, or tell you a hotel is good if we have not used it. If your plan does not fit the days, or self-drive would genuinely be better value for you, or a small-group tour suits you more — we will say so, even when it costs us the booking.
