What if we miss the ship? We make it structurally unlikely: the itinerary is built backwards from all aboard, we hold a hard turnaround time, and we keep a 60 to 90 minute cushion. A private operator cannot hold a ship, and we say so plainly. If a genuine incident occurred, the driver stays with you, contacts the port agent and drives to the next port if that is practical. What if the ship is delayed or the port is changed? Tell us as soon as you know and we re plan; we do not charge for a cancellation caused by the ship or by weather. What if the tender is cancelled? Same answer, and at tender ports we build the plan around the last tender rather than the departure time.
The Ones About Practicalities
How many people is it worth for? Four or more usually beats a per person ship excursion, and for one or two on a short tender call we will honestly tell you to book the ship tour. Can we bring luggage? Yes, and on turnaround days that is the main reason to book a car. How do we pay? WeChat Pay, Alipay, bank transfer or card, with WeChat and WhatsApp booking, and company invoices for business travellers. Is a tip expected? Not required in the UK and never assumed; it is entirely at your discretion. Child seats? Fitted free, tell us ages and heights. Wheelchair or walking frame? Space available, tell us in advance. Dietary needs? Tell us at booking so the table is reserved rather than improvised.
