Changing dates
Date changes more than 30 days out are usually straightforward and free. Inside 30 days depends on whether we can refill the slot.
Cancellation
The deposit is non-refundable, which is standard and stated upfront. The balance is refundable if cancelled more than 14 days before departure.
If we cancel
Vehicle breakdown or driver illness — we arrange a replacement where possible. If we genuinely cannot deliver, you get a full refund including the deposit.
The rhythm of stops
We stop roughly every ninety minutes. Some are viewpoints, some are simply because someone wants a coffee or a toilet. On some Highland stretches there is nothing for forty miles, so these stops are planned rather than improvised.
How long the drive really takes
Map estimates in the Highlands are typically a third optimistic. Single-track roads mean constant pulling in to pass, and in summer add motorhomes: a two-hour leg is closer to three. We plan on real times, which is why our days look shorter on paper and actually finish.
What we will not do
We do not push you into shops or restaurants that pay commission — we take none. We do not add unrequested items and charge for them, or recommend hotels we have not used. If your plan does not fit the days, or self-drive suits you better, we say so even when it costs us the booking.
Booking and changes
A £180 deposit secures the dates and the balance is settled before departure. Changes more than 30 days out are usually free; inside 30 days it depends on whether we can refill the slot. The deposit is non-refundable, stated before you pay. If we are the ones who cannot deliver, we refund in full including the deposit.
