Outlander
Locations are scattered across central Scotland: Doune Castle as Castle Leoch, the town of Falkland standing in for 1940s Inverness, Culross as Cranesmuir, and Blackness Castle. All within an hour of Edinburgh and workable as a day.
Skyfall
The drive north in Skyfall is the A82 through Glencoe. The lodge itself was a built set, since removed, but the road and the glen are exactly as filmed. The turn into Glen Etive is the famous angle.
Braveheart
Most of Braveheart was actually filmed in Ireland rather than Scotland, which surprises people. But Stirling and the Wallace Monument are the genuine historical sites, and Glen Nevis near Fort William was used.
Others
The Da Vinci Code used Rosslyn Chapel, thirty minutes south of Edinburgh; Avengers: Infinity War filmed in Edinburgh's Old Town. Game of Thrones was not filmed in Scotland — mainly Northern Ireland and Croatia — another common misconception.
How we handle it
If screen locations are the focus, tell us which productions and we will build the route around the actual sites. We will not package unrelated places as filming locations, which some tours do.

实际车程要几耐
地图估的时间在高地通常乐观三成。单线道要不停靠哪会车，夏天再加露营车，两个钟的路段实际接近三个钟。我们排行程用真实时间，所以我们的日程纸面上看起来短些——但不会做不完。
