The direct cost
A rental executive car runs perhaps £600–900 for ten days plus fuel, parking and insurance excess. A chauffeured vehicle is £600–750 per day. On paper it is not close, and we will not pretend otherwise.
What you actually trade
Driving yourself means you cannot work en route, you handle city-centre parking, and you arrive at meetings having navigated rather than prepared. London adds the congestion charge and a genuine parking problem. For a senior executive on a five-day trip whose hourly rate is in three figures, those fifteen hours behind the wheel are a real cost.
Driving in Britain
Drive on the left, give way to the right at roundabouts, speed limits in miles per hour. Long stretches of the A9 have average speed cameras. Many Highland roads are single track and passing requires reversing. If left-hand driving is new to you, a business trip is not the place to learn.
Where rental wins
One or two days, a single city, a driver comfortable on the left, a flexible schedule. In those cases we will tell you to rent rather than push a service you do not need. That is how we do business.
Where chauffeur wins
Five days or more, multiple cities, luggage moving between hotels, work to do between legs, or a team of four sharing the cost. Split four ways, £600 a day is £150 each — covering transport, luggage handling and a driver who speaks your language.
车辆实际载得多少
Toyota Alphard 和 Vellfire 是七座，但七个座位和七件行李是两回事。第三排立起那阵，尾箱大约放到四件 26 吋行李箱。所以我们说「最多四位客人连全套行李」——五位或以上有托运行李，我们会安排第二架车，不会勉强塞。
为什么选 MPV 不选房车
Alphard 的后座脚位比多数行政房车更阔，而且底盘便宜，你是「行入去」而不是「坐落去」。对六十岁以上、著正装、或者带住小朋友的客人，这个差别好实在。他不是 Mercedes S-Class，我们不会扮是——如果你需要车头个标志做门面，我们不是适合的供应商。
司机导游实际做些什么
揸车只是一半。我们司机受过导游训练，你想听就会说历史和地理，你想静静望窗就不会出声。实际协助包括：搬行李、餐厅推介、排队买飞、知哪个停车场仲有位。我们不收商店和餐厅佣金——所以我们的推介先有价值。
我们不会做的嘢
我们不会迫你入有佣金的商店或者餐厅。不会在你未问之前加项目再收钱。不会话一间我们没有住过的酒店好。如果你的计划日数不够、或者自驾对你来说其实更抵、又或者小团游更适合你，我们会直接说——就算这样会少做一单。
