Why Scotland works
Scotland has something many business destinations lack: within half a day of the city centre you can be in genuine landscape and genuine history. Stirling Castle is an hour from Edinburgh, Glencoe two and a half. What the client remembers is not the meeting room; it is that afternoon.
Distillery visits
A standard distillery tour with tasting runs about ninety minutes. Speyside is a three-hour drive, but there are options closer to Edinburgh. The practical point: Scotland's drink-drive limit is stricter than England's and effectively means nothing at all. With a driver you can taste alongside your client.
Golf
St Andrews, Carnoustie, Kingsbarns and Gleneagles are all within ninety minutes of each other. Golf bags need planning: the seven-seater takes two full sets plus two guests' cases, or four sets with hand luggage only. We plan backwards from the tee time with buffer.
Dinner
Good Edinburgh restaurants need booking, especially in August. We know which have a quiet corner, which suit a business conversation, and which are simply tourist traps. Because we take no commissions, what we tell you is what we think.
Reading the room
The commonest failure in client entertainment is a driver who talks throughout. Ours are trained guides: they will explain things if your guest is interested and stay quiet if you are talking business. You should not have to ask.
每日实际车程有几长
多数路段实际车程两至三个钟，中间有停留。十日环岛最长那日大约四个钟，我们会用一顿正经午餐分隔开，而不是高速公路服务区。大约每九十分钟停一次——有些是观景点，有些纯粹因为有人想饮杯咖啡。高地公路要特别留意：地图估两个钟，实际接近三个钟。
车辆实际载得多少
Toyota Alphard 和 Vellfire 是七座，但七个座位和七件行李是两回事。第三排立起那阵，尾箱大约放到四件 26 吋行李箱。所以我们说「最多四位客人连全套行李」——五位或以上有托运行李，我们会安排第二架车，不会勉强塞。
我们不会做的嘢
我们不会迫你入有佣金的商店或者餐厅。不会在你未问之前加项目再收钱。不会话一间我们没有住过的酒店好。如果你的计划日数不够、或者自驾对你来说其实更抵、又或者小团游更适合你，我们会直接说——就算这样会少做一单。
