What to see
The State Apartments, St George's Chapel and the Changing of the Guard. Two and a half hours covers all three without rushing. Entry is about £30. The scale and decoration of the State Apartments are the point — an entirely different register from Scottish castles.
Changing of the Guard
At 11am on selected days rather than daily. Check the current schedule before building a visit around it — this catches people out regularly — and note it is cancelled in heavy rain.
Closures
St George's Chapel closes to visitors on Sundays for services. The State Apartments close when the castle is in official use. Both are announced in advance, though not always far in advance.
The town
Windsor itself is worth half an hour: swans on the river and Eton College across the bridge. Walk it after the castle rather than scheduling separately.
Fitting it in
An hour from London, twenty minutes from Heathrow. Many guests visit Windsor on their departure day en route to the airport — useful if your flight is afternoon or evening.
每日实际车程有几长
多数路段实际车程两至三个钟，中间有停留。十日环岛最长那日大约四个钟，我们会用一顿正经午餐分隔开，而不是高速公路服务区。大约每九十分钟停一次——有些是观景点，有些纯粹因为有人想饮杯咖啡。高地公路要特别留意：地图估两个钟，实际接近三个钟。
车辆实际载得多少
Toyota Alphard 和 Vellfire 是七座，但七个座位和七件行李是两回事。第三排立起那阵，尾箱大约放到四件 26 吋行李箱。所以我们说「最多四位客人连全套行李」——五位或以上有托运行李，我们会安排第二架车，不会勉强塞。
我们不会做的嘢
我们不会迫你入有佣金的商店或者餐厅。不会在你未问之前加项目再收钱。不会话一间我们没有住过的酒店好。如果你的计划日数不够、或者自驾对你来说其实更抵、又或者小团游更适合你，我们会直接说——就算这样会少做一单。
实际车程要几耐
地图估的时间在高地通常乐观三成。单线道要不停靠哪会车，夏天再加露营车，两个钟的路段实际接近三个钟。我们排行程用真实时间，所以我们的日程纸面上看起来短些——但不会做不完。
语言支援实际是怎么
我们司机导游会说普通话、广东话和英文。由第一次查询到最后一程送机都是同一种语言。在爱丁堡你用英文大致应付到;但在高地单线道遇上天气突变，有人可以用你的语言解释情况，是另一种安心。
天气怎么影响行程
苏格兰一日四季不是说笑。我们不会因为落雨就取消——但会调转次序。如果 Quiraing 被云盖住，我们会先去 Neist Point，第二朝再回来。这种弹性就是私人包车最实际的价值。
