Choose a location that is reachable on time regardless of traffic, because the moment cannot be rushed at the end of a delayed day, so we schedule it early or mid itinerary rather than as the final stop. We can carry flowers or a chilled bottle in the vehicle, and the driver can be positioned to take a photograph from a distance if you want one without a stranger involved. For anniversaries and birthdays, a restaurant or afternoon tea booking made weeks earlier is worth far more than an improvised one.
