The arrangement
One vehicle and one driver assigned to you for the duration. The car stays with you between appointments rather than being dispatched each time, which is the practical difference from a taxi account.
Minimum booking
Five days. Below that we would point you to a standard transfer, which is usually better value for a single meeting.

Scotland and England. Multi-city itineraries — Edinburgh to Manchester to London — are common and priced by day rather than by mile.
What the vehicle actually holds
The Alphard and Vellfire seat seven, but seven seats and seven suitcases are different problems. With the rear row up, the boot takes roughly four 26-inch cases. That is why we say four guests with full luggage — for five or more with checked bags we arrange a second vehicle rather than promising a squeeze that does not work.
Why an MPV rather than a saloon
Rear legroom in an Alphard exceeds most executive saloons, and the flat floor means you step in rather than lower yourself in. For guests over sixty, in formal dress, or travelling with young children, that difference is real. It is not a Mercedes S-Class and we do not pretend otherwise — if you need a badge on the bonnet for appearances, we are not the right supplier.
What the driver-guide actually does
Driving is half of it. Our drivers are trained guides: they will explain the history and landscape if you want it, and stay quiet if you would rather look out of the window. Practical help means luggage, restaurant recommendations, ticket queues, and knowing which car park has space. We do not take commissions from shops or restaurants, which is why our recommendations are worth something.
What we will not do
We will not push you into shops or restaurants that pay commission, add items you did not ask for and charge for them, or tell you a hotel is good if we have not used it. If your plan does not fit the days, or self-drive would genuinely be better value for you, or a small-group tour suits you more — we will say so, even when it costs us the booking.
