Morning

Westminster and the Abbey at opening, then walk the river to the Eye. Two hours and the two most recognisable views in Britain.

Afternoon

Either the British Museum or the Tower of London. Not both — each deserves two hours and rushing them wastes the visit.

One Day in London — A Stopover Plan

Evening

Covent Garden or the South Bank for dinner. Both are walkable from the afternoon options and neither needs booking weeks ahead.

The rhythm of stops

We stop roughly every ninety minutes. Some are viewpoints, some are simply because someone wants a coffee or a toilet. On some Highland stretches there is nothing for forty miles, so these stops are planned rather than improvised.

What language support actually means

Our chauffeur-guides speak Mandarin, Cantonese and English, from first enquiry to final drop-off. In Edinburgh you can manage in English. On a single-track Highland road when the weather turns, having someone explain the options in your own language is a different kind of comfort.
