格倫科大屠殺 The Massacre of Glencoe — Betrayal in the Highlands
On 13 February 1692, government soldiers — guests of the 麥克唐納氏族（MacDonald clan）for twelve days — rose in the early hours and massacred their hosts. 38 MacDonalds were killed. The violation of the Highland code of hospitality — sheltering as guests, then murdering their hosts — made this event uniquely shocking in Scottish history.
