To the city centre
Edinburgh Airport is about eight miles from the centre, 25–30 minutes in normal traffic. A private transfer is a fixed price that does not climb in traffic. A taxi runs on the meter, so at peak or after a delayed flight the actual fare can exceed what you expected.
Why a fixed price matters
After a long-haul flight the last thing you want is to watch a meter climb. Our quote does not change — not if your flight is three hours late, not if the festival closures add twenty minutes. Waiting time is included: 60 minutes for international arrivals, 30 for domestic.
Longer routes
Airport to Glasgow is about an hour and ten; to St Andrews ninety minutes; to Loch Ness three and a half to four hours. These are quoted by route rather than by the hour. On longer runs we usually suggest adding stops along the way — the same driving time, two more places seen.
Party size and luggage
Four guests with four large cases is comfortable. Five or six travel fine with hand luggage only. Five or more with checked bags means two vehicles. Tell us the case count when booking and we will say honestly whether one car is enough rather than letting you find out at the kerb.
Versus tram and bus
The tram takes 35 minutes to St Andrew Square. It is far cheaper, but most hotels still need a walk or a taxi from there and you handle your own luggage. For two or three people with cases the difference is smaller than you would think. Travelling alone with hand luggage, the tram genuinely wins — and we will say so.
实际价钱怎么计
我们按日计价，不按英里。日团商务七座 £580 至 £640，视乎路线；十日环岛 £6,400 全程；六日环岛 £3,840。价钱已包燃油、停车、过路费和司机导游，行程完结不会再有燃油附加费或者「超时费」。住宿如果由我们代订，大约每间房每晚 £200，酒店确认后先另行收费。
人数怎么影响人均成本
车价固定，所以人数愈多人均愈便宜。十日环岛 £6,400：两个人分即是每人 £3,200，四个人分即是 £1,600。但住宿相反——两位客人一间房，四位要两间。埋单计，四人团的人均总成本通常比两人团便宜两至三成。
我们不会做的嘢
我们不会迫你入有佣金的商店或者餐厅。不会在你未问之前加项目再收钱。不会话一间我们没有住过的酒店好。如果你的计划日数不够、或者自驾对你来说其实更抵、又或者小团游更适合你，我们会直接说——就算这样会少做一单。
