Getting there
Both Singapore and Kuala Lumpur have direct flights to London, thirteen to thirteen and a half hours. There is no direct service to Edinburgh, so you connect via London or Amsterdam. If your trip is Scotland-focused, connecting saves a four-hour drive.
Entry
Singaporean and Malaysian passport holders do not need a visa for tourism but must have an Electronic Travel Authorisation. Apply online in advance and check the UK government site, as rules change.
Choosing an itinerary
The ten-day loop at £6,400 is our most-booked; the six-day at £3,840 suits those who have seen Scotland before; with under seven days we suggest Scotland only. All start and end in Edinburgh.
Food
Halal, Cantonese and Sichuan options exist in Edinburgh and Glasgow but are scarce in the Highlands. Tell us your requirements at booking and we plan lunch stops rather than leaving it to chance.
Budget
Four people over ten days in two mid-range rooms, including tickets and meals but excluding flights, comes to about £13,000 — £3,250 each. With flights, budget roughly SGD 20,000–24,000 or MYR 68,000–80,000 for a family of four.
When to travel
Late May and September offer the best value: long daylight, prices 30% lower and quiet Highland roads. June and December are school holidays but also UK peak. Hogmanay and the August festivals need booking a year ahead.

多数路段实际车程两至三个钟，中间有停留。十日环岛最长那日大约四个钟，我们会用一顿正经午餐分隔开，而不是高速公路服务区。大约每九十分钟停一次——有些是观景点，有些纯粹因为有人想饮杯咖啡。高地公路要特别留意：地图估两个钟，实际接近三个钟。
车辆实际载得多少
Toyota Alphard 和 Vellfire 是七座，但七个座位和七件行李是两回事。第三排立起那阵，尾箱大约放到四件 26 吋行李箱。所以我们说「最多四位客人连全套行李」——五位或以上有托运行李，我们会安排第二架车，不会勉强塞。
