What we adjust
Shorter driving legs, stops every ninety minutes rather than every two hours, viewpoints reachable from the car park, and a rest afternoon mid-trip. None of this costs extra, but tell us at booking.
Sites to approach carefully
Edinburgh Castle involves a steep cobbled approach — there is a courtesy vehicle for visitors who need it, just ask on arrival. The Royal Mile descends steeply and the closes off it are steps. York's walls involve stairs. We have alternatives for each.
Getting in and out
The Alphard has a flat floor and grab handles, so you step in rather than lower yourself in — considerably easier than a saloon for anyone using a stick or with knee trouble. A folded manual wheelchair fits in the boot; a powered chair does not, and we say so in advance.
Facilities
On some Highland stretches there is nothing for forty miles and village toilets may be seasonal. With older guests we shorten the gaps between stops — it changes the route slightly and makes the day much easier.
What to tell us
Mobility level, whether stairs are manageable, any condition affected by cold or long periods sitting, and whether medication needs fixed times. The more we know the better the day works, and none of it affects the price.
每日实际车程有几长
多数路段实际车程两至三个钟，中间有停留。十日环岛最长那日大约四个钟，我们会用一顿正经午餐分隔开，而不是高速公路服务区。大约每九十分钟停一次——有些是观景点，有些纯粹因为有人想饮杯咖啡。高地公路要特别留意：地图估两个钟，实际接近三个钟。
车辆实际载得多少
Toyota Alphard 和 Vellfire 是七座，但七个座位和七件行李是两回事。第三排立起那阵，尾箱大约放到四件 26 吋行李箱。所以我们说「最多四位客人连全套行李」——五位或以上有托运行李，我们会安排第二架车，不会勉强塞。
我们不会做的嘢
我们不会迫你入有佣金的商店或者餐厅。不会在你未问之前加项目再收钱。不会话一间我们没有住过的酒店好。如果你的计划日数不够、或者自驾对你来说其实更抵、又或者小团游更适合你，我们会直接说——就算这样会少做一单。
停留节奏
我们大约每九十分钟停一次。有些是观景点，有些纯粹因为有人想饮杯咖啡或者去洗手间。高地部分路段四十英里没有任何设施，所以这些停留点是预先规划的，不是即兴。

天气怎么影响行程
苏格兰一日四季不是说笑。我们不会因为落雨就取消——但会调转次序。如果 Quiraing 被云盖住，我们会先去 Neist Point，第二朝再回来。这种弹性就是私人包车最实际的价值。
