General price level
Britain costs more than southern Europe — Spain, Portugal, southern Italy — sits close to France and Germany, and comes in below Switzerland and Scandinavia. London is the exception: central London accommodation and dining match Zurich.
Accommodation
Mid-range UK hotels run £150–250 a night, similar to France and Germany. Spain and Portugal can be 30–40% less. But rural Scotland has limited stock, so it is not that cheaper options exist and you choose not to take them — often there are simply no rooms.
Chauffeured travel
UK chauffeured rates of £580–750 a day are broadly comparable to equivalent services on the Continent. But Britain has an extra factor: left-hand driving plus Highland single-track roads make self-drive harder here than in France or Italy. The relative value of a chauffeur is therefore higher.
Free museums
This is a clear British advantage. The British Museum, National Gallery, V&A and National Museum of Scotland are free, while the Louvre and Uffizi charge and require booking. Over ten days that saves close to £100 per person.
The honest conclusion
Britain is not cheap but it is not the most expensive part of Europe either. What drives totals up is London and peak-season accommodation. Avoid August and central London, use the free museums, and the value is genuinely reasonable.

我们按日计价，不按英里。日团商务七座 £580 至 £640，视乎路线；十日环岛 £6,400 全程；六日环岛 £3,840。价钱已包燃油、停车、过路费和司机导游，行程完结不会再有燃油附加费或者「超时费」。住宿如果由我们代订，大约每间房每晚 £200，酒店确认后先另行收费。
人数怎么影响人均成本
车价固定，所以人数愈多人均愈便宜。十日环岛 £6,400：两个人分即是每人 £3,200，四个人分即是 £1,600。但住宿相反——两位客人一间房，四位要两间。埋单计，四人团的人均总成本通常比两人团便宜两至三成。
