Why the location matters
Stirling sits at the neck between Lowlands and Highlands. Historically whoever held Stirling held Scotland, which is why so many decisive battles were fought here. The geography explains the castle's importance.
The castle
Many visitors find it better than Edinburgh Castle: more intact, far less crowded, and the Great Hall and royal palace have been restored to their sixteenth-century appearance. About £18, and two hours covers it.
The Wallace Monument
Commemorating the 1297 Battle of Stirling Bridge. There are 246 steps to the top, but the view takes in the Forth valley and the edge of the Highlands. Combined with the castle, it fills half a day.
Fitting it in
It is directly on the route from Edinburgh to the Highlands, so it costs no detour. Day two of our ten-day loop is Stirling with an overnight, and day three goes into the Highlands — which keeps that leg from becoming a single long push.
Better than Edinburgh Castle?
Different. Edinburgh wins on setting and the city view; Stirling on preservation and crowds. If you want both, take Edinburgh Castle at opening and Stirling on a separate day — two castles in one day starts to feel repetitive.

Toyota Alphard 和 Vellfire 是七座，但七个座位和七件行李是两回事。第三排立起那阵，尾箱大约放到四件 26 吋行李箱。所以我们说「最多四位客人连全套行李」——五位或以上有托运行李，我们会安排第二架车，不会勉强塞。

我们不会迫你入有佣金的商店或者餐厅。不会在你未问之前加项目再收钱。不会话一间我们没有住过的酒店好。如果你的计划日数不够、或者自驾对你来说其实更抵、又或者小团游更适合你，我们会直接说——就算这样会少做一单。
停留节奏
我们大约每九十分钟停一次。有些是观景点，有些纯粹因为有人想饮杯咖啡或者去洗手间。高地部分路段四十英里没有任何设施，所以这些停留点是预先规划的，不是即兴。

语言支援实际是怎么
我们司机导游会说普通话、广东话和英文。由第一次查询到最后一程送机都是同一种语言。在爱丁堡你用英文大致应付到;但在高地单线道遇上天气突变，有人可以用你的语言解释情况，是另一种安心。
